The purpose of the DIESELSWITCH MKII is to change over from high sulphur fuel to low sulphur fuel in a safe and automatic manner, and optionally to adjust blend fuel according to the permitted sulphur content in the relevant Emission Control Area (ECA).
Prior to a controlled change over or blending process, the Dieselswitch MKII automatically carries out digital data storage and optional print out of all relevant parameters in combination with an Approved Fuel Change Over Record Book. Both items should be used to prove that the correct fuel oil is in use before entering a particular ECA.
